The victim was shot multiple times as he was exiting a car in the 600 blockof Southard St. Near the intersection of Brunswick Ave. just before 8 PM Friday evening.
He was transported to Capital health regional medical center where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

A witness reported hearing about a dozen shots.
The suspect was said to be a Black male who was last scene fleeing on Southern St.

Thomas is reported to have several prior run-ins with the law
