Trenton –   Body found stuffed in a garbage bag on South Trenton Street has been identified

Trenton –    
Police and homicide detectives are investigating whether or not a body that was found stuffed inside a garbage bag in the 400 block of Lamberton Street  near the intersection of Furman st. in South Trenton was a homicide.

Police received a call  after 4:30 PM Monday evening from a person who found the bag and believed it may contain a body. when patrol officers arrived on the scene they confirmed a body was indeed in the bag 

Sources tell the Trenton post that the body is a young female either Caucasian or Hispanic and may have had her hands and feet bound. 

Detectives were walking door-to-door asking neighbors if they had seen anything suspicious in the neighborhood.

Tuesday afternoon the Mercer County prosecutors office release the name of the victim as 43-year-old Lillian Duran of Trenton. 
Sadly some residents gathered across the street from the scene laughing as detectives were investigating.
