Firefighters battle 2 Alarm blaze, roof collapse

The Trenton fire department battled a two alarm blaze early Saturday morning in the 200 block of Hamilton Avenue near the intersection of South Clinton Ave.
The fire broke out in an Abandoned House located at 213 Hamilton Ave.
Trenton Fire Director Qareeb Bashir, said the fire spread to the adjacent property at 215 Hamilton Ave. and that the roof of the structure collapsed, dozens of firefighters were on hand battling the blaze as well as paramedics, Trenton police & members of the signal 22 canteen to support fire fighters and displaced family members from neighboring homes
portions of S. Clinton Ave. were closed off from Bayard Street down to Tyler Street and Hamilton Avenue from Clark Street to Hudson Street
As of 10 AM firefighters were still Dousing the buildings with water
The cause of the fire is under investigation
