Notre Dame’s Cartier Bowman leapt over three of his classmates on his way to dunking the ball for a perfect score of 50 to win the WBCB slam dunk contest Thursday evening at Trenton Catholic’s iron palace .

In the 3 Point competition Hightstown’s Jamal Anderson took home the championship edging out Trenton’s Reggie James, & Ewing’s Shemar Robinson.

In the girls 3 Point Competition Allentown’s Ryan Weise won the championship in spectacular fashion scoring 16 points in the final round making six shots in a row at one point, to beat out Steinert’s Natalie Mehl & Robbinsville’s Fiona Aromando .

In the battle of the 3-point champions boys champion versus girls Hightstown’s Jamal Anderson edged out Allentown’s Ryan Weise on the final shot in overtime for a 5–4 victory.

The event was hosted by WBCB radio station, all of the proceeds benefit the Mercer county sunshine foundation’s annual dream lift.

Dream lift 2018 will be May 1 starting 6:30 AM at the National guard armory on Scott Rd., Ewing Township The public is welcome to attend the annual sendoff ceremony the plane takes off 8 AM sharp for a fun filled day in Disney World for handicapped & Special needs children.
