Mercer County Sheriff Jack Kemler announced the opportunity to dispose of unused and expired prescription drugs during the National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day on Saturday, April 26, 2025. The goal is to help residents rid their medicine cabinets of outdated and easily abused opioid painkillers and other unneeded prescription medications. Residents can drop off unused and expired prescription pills, with no questions asked, by bringing them to the parking lot across from the Mercer County administration Building at 640 South Broad street in Trenton between 10:00 A.M. and 2:00 P.M.
